EMG en echografie lijken even sensitief in detectie van CTS en staan in de huidige richtlijn dan ook gelijkwaardig aan elkaar.(1-3) Cave: er zijn geen ziekte-specifieke waardes in de literatuur bekend die deze echografische CTS test voor polyneuropathie corrigeren. Meting:
